Story Groups

Story groups are a place to engage with your story in the presence of a group, guided by a trained facilitator. During the course of 6-8 weeks, each story group member writes a story of impact from childhood and reads it aloud to the group. The facilitator and group then explore that one story with the reader, offering kindness, curiosity, and reflective questions. Confidentiality of content and consistency of attendance are crucial.

TYPES OF STORY GROUPS

  • Engaging the stories of others

No prior storywork experience required for discovery groups.
